What is Starsand Island?
Starsand Island is a seaside life-simulation RPG by Seed Sparkle Lab: you return to the island where you grew up, rebuild a homestead, and split your days between farming, ranching, fishing, crafting and exploring the Moonlit Forest while getting to know 28 voiced islanders. It spent six months in Steam Early Access (from February 11, 2026) and launched version 1.0 on August 18, 2026 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2, adding four-player online co-op, dating for all 14 romanceable NPCs and 3-heart Relationship Stories. The Tidebook covers the questions players actually search: which platforms and editions exist, what every character wants as a gift, where the King fish spawn, where to mine iron, coal and magnetite, and what the AI controversy is actually about.

Get Started in 5 Steps
- Pick your first profession wisely. The five mentors (Zerine, Graminova, Pastelle, Delphin, Zephyria) hand out the quests with the biggest affection gains — see the beginner guide.
- Carry universal gifts. Celeste Berry, Pasture Grass and Dragon Fruit are Liked by every romanceable NPC; the gifts guide has the per-character Loved lists.

What is Starsand Island?
Starsand Island is a seaside life-simulation game by Seed Sparkle Lab: you return to your childhood island, restore a homestead, and mix farming, ranching, fishing, crafting and exploration with a cast of voiced islanders, 14 of whom can be romanced. It entered Steam Early Access on February 11, 2026 and launched version 1.0 on August 18, 2026.
Is it Starsand Island, Star Sand Island or Starsandisland?
The official title is Starsand Island (one word, then 'Island'). 'Star sand island', 'starsandisland' and 'Starsands Island' are common misspellings that all point to the same game — the Chinese title is 星砂岛 and the Japanese title is スターサンドアイランド.
Which platforms is Starsand Island on?
PC (Steam and the Microsoft Store), Xbox Series X|S (including Game Pass), PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2, all digital since August 18, 2026. There is no original-Switch, Mac or mobile version; physical PS5/Switch 2 editions shipped in Japan on August 20 and arrive in the West on November 12, 2026.
How the Tidebook Is Kept
Starsand Tidebook is an independent, unofficial fan resource for Starsand Island players — not affiliated with Seed Sparkle Lab.
- How we verify: Gift, fish and ore tables are printed only where the game's data export and at least one independent player-tested guide agree; single-source items are labelled as such, and where sources conflict the page shows both readings instead of picking one. Platform dates, prices and patch contents are taken from the developer's Steam announcements and the store listings themselves.
- Update cadence: Every page carries the date its sources were last re-read. Patch-day pages (updates, multiplayer, codes) are revisited within 48 hours of a Seed Sparkle Lab release note; data tables from Early Access are being re-verified against 1.0 section by section and marked as they clear.
- What we don't do: No invented codes, no in-game numbers we cannot trace to a patch note, data export or tested guide, no claims about AI use beyond what the developer has actually said, and no links to APK mirrors, trainers or key resellers.
